13 March, 2020 A new pathology favourite has been created in Helix called COVID-19 PCR with the required pre-sets. This has been automatically added to the favourite list for those who have permission to create pathology requests.

Reminder Practices can add the COVID-19 nucleic acid assay (Nasopharyngeal swab) and the Infectious respiratory nucleic acid (Respiratory PCR; Rhinovirus nuclei acid) Pathology test requests in the Pathology Favourites section, in Clinical.

 

Reminder Practices can create alerts for patients’ files to flag if the patient is COVID-19 positive or is suspected to have COVID-19, in Clinical.

 

Reminder Practices can create custom appointment types (e.g. Telehealth/Phone Consult) in Pracsoft.
