National Cancer Screening Register

The National Cancer Screening Register (National Register) enables a single electronic record for each person participating in the National Cervical Screening Program and National Bowel Cancer Screening Program. It enables a national electronic infrastructure for the collection, storage, analysis and reporting of screening program data.

The NCSR invites, reminds and follows up participants to screen. It also generates comprehensive data to inform policy and improve program quality and service delivery.

Practices can now directly access and submit screening data to manage patient participation in the national bowel and cervical screening programs within MedicalDirector Clinical.

This integration can be accessed via the sidebar removing the need for paper-based forms, and saving valuable time for practices supporting patients in this way.
