Clinical User Guide
User Permissions

Practitioner/User permissions are configured via the User Database.

It is recommended you configure permissions when creating a new user profile. See Managing Practitioner and User Records.

Items of note:

o      Indicate whether the user should have Top-Level Access. This is only available to Practitioners or Nurse Practitioners.

o      Tick the Options Editing check box if you wish to give the user access to the Clinical Options and Print Options menus.

o      Indicate whether the user has Data Export Privileges.

o      Indicate whether the user can access Restricted Access Patients. A patient with Restricted Access is one who has specified that only practitioners with this permission can access their record. This is configured in the patient's record.
