Printing Labels

Labels can be printed for:

o      New Patients: when adding a new patient record to Pracsoft, click the Print button.

o      Existing Patients: locate and right-click a patient in the Waiting Room, and select Print Label from the menu that appears.

1.      When selecting to print a label using either of the methods mentioned above, you will be able to then select from the following types of labels:

o      Address,

o      Medical or

o      Specialist.

 

2.      ...after which the Print Label Information window appears.

 

3.      Click to display more options.

 

4.      Enter settings as desired, using the following guides, below.

5.      Click Print when you are ready to print the label(s).

Options on this Window

Single Column Tractor Feed

1.      Select the Single Column Tractor Feed option.

2.      The Position of the first label to print is always set to 1.

3.      Columns and rows per page are set to 1.

4.      Adjust the top and bottom margins as appropriate for your printer (Tip: start at 0 and adjust until correct).

 

Several Labels per Page (for example Avery DL24)

1.      Select the Several labels per page option.

2.      Determine the position of the label on the printed page (for example 1, 2, 3 up to 24), and enter this into the box provided.

3.      Set the Columns per page value to 3.

4.      Set the Rows per page value to 8.

5.      Adjust the top and bottom margins as appropriate for your printer (tip: start at 0 and adjust until correct).

 

Dedicated Label Printer

1.      Select the number of labels to be printed.

2.      The Position of the first label to print is always set to 1.
