When recording a visit, it may be necessary for you to rearrange the order of Service Items on the Record Visit window. An example of this is when you bill for derived fees, where the associated service items must be recorded in a specific order for successful processing by Medicare.

In the example below, we have recorded four service items. Currently, service item 4/2 is selected.

Note that above the Service Details section is a message to indicate that the item in question happens to have a derived fee associated with it.

Note also that the entire service item row is highlighted in blue.

In our example, we want to shift service item 4/2.

To do this, we;

1.      Select the service item we wish to move.

2.      Then, either;

o      Click the Up button, or press ALT + U to move an item up the list, or

o      Click the Down button, or press ALT + N to move an item down the list.

The item will be moved up/down one row, as shown in our example below.
