Letter Writer
o You can
attach pathology and imaging results within Letter
Writer to enable the practitioner to include relevant patient clinical
information.
Patient Record
o You can record the
patient's PIP QI consent in the patient details screen under Patient
preferences. Patients can consent on providing their data (opted in)
by default. The patient can opt out by clicking on the Opt-Out/In option.
Prescribing
o The compliance warnings in prescribing have been added to assist you in managing patients’ medications and provide prescriptions appropriately to avoid clinical risk. See Medication Elapsed Date for more information.
• Elapsed date field indicates when the medication supply will come to an end for a patient for that medication. It can also be used by the practitioners to manually enter a date to indicate the completion of treatment.
• Elapsed date is calculated based on directions, quantity and repeats and the date in the prescription.
o Prescribing authority required drugs
• When prescribing an authority required drug, all the information you need to request authority is now located in one place. The following details have been added to the authority box to help you when you contact the authority: Patient name, Medicare or DVA card number, prescriber number and medication details.
o When prescribing antibiotics, the label has changed from Max to “PBS Max" and have been set to zero repeats while prescribing to avoid prolonged use of medications.
The 'FromDate' and 'ToDate' columns in the CSV version of the Receipts Issued report are now reflected in the correct order in the Day Sheet - Receipts Issued report.
